Electronic and Sealed bids will be accepted for work required by bidding documents entitled: BASEBAL & SOFTBALL PRACTICE PAVILION, MISSISSIPPI VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY, ITTA BENA, MISSISSIPPI will be received at Mississippi Valley State University Office of Purchasing, 14000 Highway 82 West, Itta Bena, Mississippi 38941, Telephone: 662.254.3320 until 2:00 p.m., local time on Friday, December 20, 2024, and thereby publicly opened and read.

If you attempt to complete the registration process and you are already a converted vendor in MAGIC, you will receive a duplicate error message. Please call the MMRS Call Center at 601- 359-1343, Option 2 for assistance in locating your vendor information. All bidders have the option of responding to this request via sealed bid or through MAGIC using this guide MAGIC Supplier Self-Service Reference Guide. BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING: Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows:

Procurement Office, Mississippi Valley State University. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. BID SECURITY: Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.

DOCUMENTS: Obtain online at www.beardriserplans.com. Online access will be provided to all registered bidders and suppliers. Viewing Procurement and Contracting Documents: Examine at AGC Plan Room, ABC Plan Room, and Statewide Plan Room. TIME OF COMPLETION AND LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time of 180 calendar days. Work is subject to liquidated damages of $250 per calendar day .

BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS: Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
