A/E# 2752-21 2024 Classroom/Adm Additions & Misc Renovations for the Grenada Middle School #16739

Sealed, written or electronic bids will be accepted by the Grenada School District for the bid of 2024 Classroom/Administrative Additions & Miscellaneous Renovations for the Grenada Middle School,@, Grenada, MS. The work will be awarded as a lump sum bid under one prime contract including all work described in the plans and specifications. Bids will be received at the Administrative Office, 253 South Main, Grenada, Mississippi until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 10, 2024 at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

Specifications and Drawings can be viewed in the office of RJZ Architecture, PA., 91 Sunset Drive, Suite C, Grenada, Mississippi 38901. Bid documents are being made available via original paper copy. Plan holders are required to register for an account at www.jones-zanderplanroom.com to view and order Bid Documents. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified check or an acceptable bid bond in the amount of 5% of the base bid guaranteeing the Owner the execution of Performance Bond and Contract.

Each bidder is cautioned that he must comply with the Laws of Mississippi requiring each bidder to submit evidence showing that he has a Certificate of Responsibility, provided the contract or subcontract sum exceeds $50,000. This CR number should be so stated on the outside of the bidding envelope.

Electronic bids may be submitted through the website www.jones-zanderplanroom.com. Electronic bids are not required by the GSD, but offered as another means to submit a bid. Single stipulated sum bids will be received for all work required by the contract documents in accordance with the Instructions To Bidders.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the date set for the opening thereof, and each bidder must comply with the laws of the State of Mississippi and all local laws relative to the performance of said work.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE: Will be scheduled and notification will be made by Addendum.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive all informalities.
